Fabson AG was originally founded in 1995 by Dean Fabritz, a passionate Porsche enthusiast with a vision to provide unparalleled service and expertise in air-cooled Porsche cars. For over 30 years, Dean and his dedicated team have honed their skills and deepened their knowledge, becoming true experts in these iconic vehicles. Throughout the years, the shop has built hundreds of engines, each one crafted with precision and care, drawing from decades of hands-on experience—knowledge that can’t be found with a simple Google search.

In 2025, Dean decided to retire and entrusted Fabson to three new partners: Rob Conners, Ryan Kasper, and Paul Stephan. While the leadership has evolved, the shop’s dedication to excellence remains unchanged. Lead technician Dave continues to bring his expertise to every build, and with two additional full-time mechanics joining the team, Fabson now has even greater capacity to take on projects. And of course, Dean still drops by the shop—because after decades of working on Porsches, it’s not so easy to walk away.
